Medium: Digital manipulation of photos by me

Intention

To end my exhibition, I decided to revert back to the intention of relationships, however on a more positive note. I utilized a  psychedelic stylistic approach as I experimented with the digital manipulation of photography. Continuing with the usage of fragmentation I overlapped parts of the photos in focus to emphasize the blurred affect of the photo in the background. The blurred background conveys a sense of moving in and out of focus when I feel confused about certain relationships.

Technology and its effect on Family Bonds

Technology can be designed to reinforce family bonds in extended families. However, there are limitations to technology aiding family bonds. There have been breakthroughs, like Facetime, group calendars, and even social media however these come with limitations. Designing technology to reinforce family bonds in extended families rather than breaking them requires careful consideration of the needs and dynamics of these families (ChatGPT). To design technology that is inclusive to extended families we need to consider inclusivity, shared experiences, and connectivity.
