Medium: Printed photos, rubber cement, Elmer’s liquid glue on foam board

Intention:

Using photography, I was inspired by the artist Micaela Lattanzio and her use of fragmented photos to emphasize compositional arrangement. Values and color tones were used to create optical illusions. I used three different photos to create one image of the varied states of my being. I often struggle with being caught between conflicts and relationships therefore I used fragmented pieces of myself being pulled apart to convey this conflict.
